[лат. individuum — неделимое, особь]изменчивость, свойственная данному индивиду (особи), проявляющаяся одномоментно у взрослого организма (в разных тканях, клетках и т.п.) или в процессе индивидуального развития. И.и. во многом определяется структурой генома индивидуума. В. Шевкуненко и Ю. Филипченко в 1926 г. ввели термин и понятие "индивидуальная анатомическая изменчивость", которое обозначает совокупность всех возможных вариантов строения органа, системы органов или всего организма, заключенных между двумя крайними формами, в пределах которых все проявления изменчивости трактуются как норма, в отличие от тех вариантов строения, которые находятся вне крайних форм и могут трактоваться как аномалия или патология.Толковый биотехнологический словарь.
